Bio:

Break Mode is a Pacific Northwest-based producer and DJ navigating dub, krautrock, trip-hop, EBM, and left-field disco. His EPs Wash One and Televisions highlight a richly textured, immersive approach to sound, while his remix of DMX Krew’s “Unlikely Seeming” translates that sensibility into a club-ready form—praised as “at once ethereal and uplifting… it has 4am written all over it” and named Best New Deep House (May 2024) by Beatport, with Bleep noting its blend of “dub and garage flavours” with hypnotic electronica.

His recent remix of “Saulėlydis” by thelastsunday has been championed by Apiento and Vladimir Ivković. Elsewhere, his productions have drawn comparisons to ON-U Sound’s experimental lineage and unexpected melodic touchpoints, balancing weight, texture, and melody across releases on his Bed of Roses imprint. He runs the Bed of Roses collective and contributes to projects including Freak Out! and Wormbox.
